The short answer is yes with an \u201cif,\u201d the long answer is no with a \u201cbut.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>So, yes, you can buy bitcoins instantly\u00a0<em>if<\/em>\u00a0you accept some risk,\u00a0<em>but<\/em>\u00a0no you can\u2019t do it safely. Just like buying bitcoins in person, you connect with the seller directly, except here you do it online.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>These markets can include substantially more security than a simple cash transaction since most (if not all) P2P exchanges allow you to put money and tokens in escrow pending the sale. This controls the risk of outright fraud since the seller has to have an\u00a0<em>actual<\/em>\u00a0bitcoin to put into the escrow account.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>What they can\u2019t ensure is a good deal. A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.techwalls.com\/how-p2p-marketplaces-make-bitcoin-trading-more-profitable\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">P2P marketplace<\/a>\u00a0is simply that. It\u2019s an open forum where traders set their prices and make their bids. Hopefully, you\u2019ll get a fair price, but there are no protections against getting ripped off. Nor are there any certainties that this instant transaction will actually take place instantly.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If your trading partner is on the ball, great.
