What is a Cash Advance Fee?

On rare occasions, the amount you get charged may be higher than you expect. This is normally due to your bank or card issuer charging an additional Cash Advance Fee. This happens when your bank decides that your payment is a Cash Transaction. Xcoins does not have control over this charge. If this happens, you should contact your bank and ask them to refund the fee they charged you.

Be careful to avoid misunderstandings with your bank or they may accidentally file a payment dispute, which, if not managed properly, could damage your credit rating.

How does Xcoins lock in your crypto rate?

When we receive your funds for buying crypto on Xcoins, we lock in the rate for you. This means you receive exactly the amount of coins you pay for. This is immaterial of whether the market price shifts when you receive the coins in your wallet.

We do this because it’s simpler for you to get the coins you paid for. If we sent out coins based on a live market rate, you may get less or more coins than you originally ordered. We believe it is fairer to lock the price in at payment.

What currencies do we accept?

We accept GBP, USD, EUR, TRY, MXN, AUD, CAN, ARS, INR.

Please note: your bank may charge you an additional fee for exchanging your currency if you buy on Xcoins using another currency. We do not have any control or oversight on this.

Our minimum order size is 50 of any currency listed above.

Can you tell me more about Ethereum (ETH) orders and smart contracts?

The Ethereum blockchain uses something called a smart contract. Smart contracts are different from normal transactions for many reasons, and therefore some wallets are unable to technically accept them.

If you send a smart contract to a wallet that cannot accept them, although the coins might be confirmed on the Ethereum blockchain, either the coins have no wallet to be accessed in, or the wallet provider will need to manually approve the transaction, which can be time-consuming.

It is very important to check that your wallet can accept smart contracts or Ethereum (ETH) before sending coins.
